Small Groups

A Small Group is our answer to the need to have a safe place to grow and be known. It is not possible to know everyone well enough to know how to support and encourage them as we each face challenges in life. A small group provides a safe, caring environment for us to get to know each other better so we can grow in our relationships with each other and with God.

God loves us just the way we are but he loves us too much to let us stay that way. He desires to do the work of transformation in us so that we will be like Jesus in our character and in our priorities. Our small groups are structured to set an environment in which we can gain the biblical knowledge needed to be transformed, and environment in which we can find the relationships to find the encouragement to be transformed and environment in which we can gain the skills needed to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus.

So a small group is a combination of a Bible study group, prayer group and fellowship group. It will have 10-14 adults meeting in homes for 9 months during the year. For help in finding a group that fits your needs, please contact us or just ask someone during a Sunday worship service.

Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School is an opportunity to interact with the Scriptures as we interact with one another in discussion. Various topics of spiritual development will be discussed. This year the group will also function as an open small group. Adult Sunday School classes begin again September 9th.

Also during this time period, there is an English as a Second Language group for Spanish speakers.
